Freeverse's Upcoming Warpgate Gameplay Preview Trailer

Freeverse has just sent us a brand new Warpgate gameplay trailer for you to ogle at and drool over. Warpgate is kind of like an updated Escape Velocity, if any of you remember that classic Mac OS game.  It's a 3D space trading and conquest game being created for the iPhone and iPod touch.  The idea of Warpgate is to "master the galactic commodities market and battle space pirates, including both friendly and hostile alien species."

"Warpgate will feature an ever-changing economy, 6 warring factions including 2 alien species, full arsenal of weapons complete with lasers, missiles, shields and beams, all spread over a galaxy of more than 75 planets and space stations in 32 star systems!"

Warpgate is still in active development, so the gameplay preview trailer embedded below is actually an alpha build of the game.  Freeverse hasn't set a release date or price point for the game yet.
