Parachute Panic Update Adds Easy Mode
July 15, 2009
If you have played Parachute Panic before, you have probably noticed how quickly the difficulty of the game ramps up. It literally takes seconds to go from an enjoyable experience to a painstakingly difficult one. FDG Entertainment has decided to address this issue via an update that adds an often requested easy mode.
When it was first launched, Parachute Panic flew up the top paid apps charts in the App Store thanks to its unique art style and gameplay. The idea of the game is to land as many skydivers on the ships below as you can without allowing them to be destroyed by the many obstacles. You are able to control when the skydivers' parachutes are deployed, and you are also able to control the wind to manipulate their direction with the swipe of a finger. The biggest gripe users had with the game was that it got extremely difficult, extremely fast. That issue has been addressed in the new 1.1 update with the addition of an easy mode. The update also adds normal and easy statistics, tips on the loading screen, and in-game tips.
FDG Entertainment is already hard at work on Parachute Panic v1.2, which will add online leader boards, a buddy list, additional bonus objects, and the possibility to win back lives. This will definitely add to the replay value.
Parachute Panic is still available in the App Store for the sale price of $.99.
