Review: Bloons

Overview
Direct the mischievous monkey's hand in order to pop the target number of balloons. In each level there is a target number of balloons, while sometimes this will be the complete number of balloons, sometimes it is only a percentage of whats there. You are only given a certain number of darts though, so don't waste any, you'll need them.
It's all about strategy for this game, pop the balloons in an order so as to pop the target. Whether that means popping the bomb balloons first, the floating balloons, or the balloon that allows you to shoot three darts at a time. The different types of balloons and features of this game keep you popping.
Features
Games: Their a various game plays. Bloons features Game 1, 2 and 3, here you can play up to 50 levels and then create your own. There's definitely enough there to keep you busy! Different Balloons and Blocks: Bloons features a variety of different balloons that give the game a new level of strategy. You can get balloons that allow you to shoot three darts, balloons that release tacks, balloons that have helium, boomerang balloons, bomb ballons, ice balloons and more. There are also rubber blocks that allow darts to bounce, trampoline's, blocks that break, and ones that don't.
Create Your Own: This is a great feature for Bloons. Here you can create your own level by adding balloons of all kinds and blocks, in any way you please. You set the number of darts and the target number of balloons. Then play away...if you don't like it, then start again. This is a great way to get players to interact with the game. Share with friends to see if you can pass their levels, or if they can pass yours.
Breakdown
Good: There are tutorials to help you figure out how to play, which is great when you're starting a new game. It's also just plain addictive, you can replay all the levels once they've been unlocked and it never gets old.
The different types of darts and balloons are also great. This is where the strategy comes in, some balloons have to be popped before others. Creates a new dimension to the game.
The customization section is an awesome idea to get players to interact with the game. Players should be able to post their designs and see who can pass their levels. Here players can design, create, play and share their levels. And because you create it yourself, you can never get bored. If you do...create a new one!
Bad: The levels can sometimes be very difficult. While this can be frustrating this also provides the exact strategic element it wants to have. Keep trying, and if you're finding it really difficult, try unlimited darts and see what works. Or seek a forum.
