Overview
A game very similar to Flight Control with one major different, you're on the ground and in a car. You take to the driver's seat of a taxi cab as you navigate the busy streets of New York City, shuttling your fares around. Think you have what it takes to avoid an accident and get your passengers to their destination?
Features
The game comes with three different maps, one to start (Central Park) and the other two must be unlocked as you go (Midtown and the East Side). There are more maps coming in a future update as well.
The game also has the added taxi or "extra life" feature to further the gameplay along. As well as a different difficulty for each map, a high score page, and a tutorial option too.
The Breakdown
The Good:
Honestly, I liked just about everything here. Do you like Flight Control? Then you will ultimately like this. For the most part it's the same thing. You only control one car and are obviously on the ground instead of the air, but the basic gameplay is about the same.
The controls work very well and it's really easy to get the car to go where you want it to. The graphics and music are also great and fit the game well. This is one of those games where you either really like it, or you don't.
The Bad:
I really couldn't find much "bad" here. It really has the same look and feel of Flight Control. For some that might be considered bad. It's also really hard when you get further along on a map, but I didn't really mind that.
The Verdict
The bottom line: This game is really fun and addicting. Just like Flight Control. If you liked that, try this one out. It has a lot of the same elements that made Flight Control great, but also has some other features that makes it a little different as well. It's also only $0.99 and is worth every penny.
