Two high profile iPhone Twitter apps have been updated in the last 24 hours, which is something all of you Twitter addicts definitely need to know about.
TweetDeck, the popular iPhone and desktop Twitter client, received a small update that fixed some stability issues, and it also adds the ability to view and search Twitter trends. The Twitter trends are a little difficult to find at first, so here is a quick rundown on how to locate them. Once you launch
TweetDeck, there is an "Add Column" button right in the middle of the bottom tab bar. Click that button and you will see a new page that displays your Twitter account and the column type you want to add. Scroll through the column types until you find "Twitter Trends." You can view current Twitter trends from there and select ones that you want
TweetDeck to search for.
TwitterFon is another great little Twitter app that is simple, fast, and easy to use. It received a small update to v1.5.4 only moments ago, which added a signup function, fixed the web view scrolling area while the keyboard appears, fixed an issue where trash button doesn't work properly, and adjusted ad displaying. Nothing too crazy here, just a bit of tweaking.
Both
TweetDeck and
TwitterFon are available in the App Store for free.
