Another popular Facebook game has successfully made the transition to the iPhone and iPod touch, and this time its Bumper Stars.
If you are an avid Facebook user, you may have already played Bumper Stars. It's one of the more entertaining games located within the popular social networking service and for good reason. The game offers simple but addicting gameplay that will always make you come back for more, and the port to the iPhone couldn't have been done any better.
The idea of the game is to bounce your beaver around the level (it sounds worse than it actually is) to collect all of the fruit. Pinball style bumpers are located all over for you to bounce your beaver off of, but you must plan your shot accordingly because you only get three shots per level. The pool portion of the game stems from the aiming mechanism. To shoot your beaver, simply touch and drag to aim, then let go to shoot. The longer your aiming line is, the more power that is behind your shot.
Bumper Stars also features the ability to connect with the Facebook version of the game. You can log in to your existing Facebook account to challenge your friends and compare scores no matter where you are as long as you have an Internet connection. The developers have stated that they are in this for the long haul, as they will be updating the game regularly with more features, collectible characters, and challenges.
