EA Releases Boggle For The iPhone And iPod Touch
August 31, 2009

The classic game of Boggle is played by shaking a covered plastic tray filled with sixteen cubic dice, where each dice has a different letter printed on each of its sides. The dice settle into a four by four tray, and only the top letter of each dice is visible. Once the dice have settled, a three-minute timer begins to count down and you must start creating words from the letters. The iPhone version is exactly the same, just without all of the manual fuss.
As you would expect, Boggle for the iPhone and iPod touch will have you shaking your device to mix up the dice. Just like many other word-search games, you will be tasked with completing words by dragging your finger across each letter. Once you have created a word, just tap the green button that pops up to confirm it. This process goes on for three minutes. Upon completion of a game, your score will be listed with your word list and you will be given the ability to challenge a friend via email. Your friend will be sent the same board layout to try and beat your score. Boggle also includes an advanced and self-score mode, achievements, and in-depth stat tracking.
Boggle is now available in the App Store for $2.99.
