FaceFighter v2.0 Update Adds Head-To-Head Bluetooth Multiplayer
August 26, 2009
Appy Entertainment’s highly polished iPhone and iPod touch fighting game, FaceFighter, has just been updated to v2.0, which features an often-requested head-to-head multiplayer mode.
“We’ve continuously built on FaceFighter since our release in June,” said Appy Entertainment Project Director Emmanuel Valdez. “We’ve added new enemies, new weapons, and new Immortal Judgment finishing moves. Now, we’ve added the feature most commonly requested by our fans -- head-to-head two-player mode.”FaceFighter allows you to import the face of anyone or anything and beat it to a pulp, but it won't be an easy task because the enemy AI is fairly capable. The faces in FaceFighter react to every hit and punch landed, so you will be able to watch them get battered and bruised. You can utilize a variety of combos, weapons, and finishing moves to dispatch your enemy, and now with head-to-head Bluetooth multiplayer, you shouldn't ever run out of faces to fight. As with all Bluetooth-enabled games, FaceFighter's multiplayer mode requires that both users have either an iPhone 3G, 3GS, or a second generation iPod touch, along with a copy of the full version of the game. FaceFighter is available in the App Store for $1.99.
