According to ArsTechnica, Apple has just confirmed the long rumored special media event will indeed be taking place on Wednesday, September 9th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at exactly 10 AM Pacific Time.
The invitation, which is pictured above, features a dancing silhouette with an iPod in-hand and reads "It's only rock and roll, but we like it." This should indicate that the event will focus on music and iPods, so don't expect the rumored iTablet. However, we won't stop you from crossing your fingers and holding your breath.
So, what do you think will be introduced at the event? A third generation iPod touch with a built-in camera? A nano with a built-in camera? iTunes 9? All of the above?
