Review: Rope'n' Fly

Overview
In this simple and addictive game, you basically use ropes to swing from one skyscraper to the next. In other words, it's an unofficial "Spiderman" game. They say ropes, but we all know it's webs. I mean look at the icon, generic "Spiderman" much? Either way, it's still a lot of fun.
Features
For such a simple game, it does come with a ton a different features. There are two different game modes, speed and free mode. In free, you can just swing until you crash into the ground, in speed you have to attempt to get as far as possible before the sixty second timer runs out.
The game has different themes available and the option to change whether you blow up or crash into the ground too. There are easy, hard and training modes so you can get a good feel for the game and an online high score board as well. You can also change the color of your player.
Breakdown
The Good:
This game is really addictive for one main reason, it's tough as hell...but in a good way. You think you've got the hang of the game and then you crash and burn into the ground. So what do you do? Start up another game. It really is a great casual time waster.
The controls are very responsive and they work quite well. Again, I really love the simplicity of the game and how easy it is to pick it up and just start playing.
The Bad:
The game doesn't really have very good graphics to it. Does that matter? I don't know to be honest, but nevertheless, the graphics are pretty bad. There is also only one thing to do in the game, swing. If that gets boring to you, you're not going to like the game at all.
The Verdict
I have to mention that there is a lite version of this game. There really isn't much difference in the two other than some extra features in the full version. So if you are on the fence, grab the lite version first. Either way, this is a fun and addicting game for sure. It might not appeal to everyone, but it is a good way to kill a few minutes.
