Snood Coming To iPhone As Snood Redood
August 12, 2009
The classic Mac OS game, Snood, is finally making its way to the iPhone and iPod touch as Snood Redood.
Snood was originally released in 1996 for the Mac OS, but it was eventually ported to a variety of other platforms, including mobile devices. Snood was basically created to allow Mac OS gamers to experience Bust-A-Move-like gameplay, since that title never made it to the platform.
Snood is essentially a puzzle game where you will be launching a randomly-selected Snood into a playing field. The idea is to launch the Snood at other Snoods of the same color. If your shot is true, all connecting Snoods of that color will disappear and any Snoods left unattached will also drop down and disappear.
Snood Redood will feature the same gameplay of the original, just with all new "Snoodity," which means new Snoods, levels, and updated graphics. The game will feature three gameplay modes, multiple difficulty levels, and the ability to connect with Facebook.
EA hasn't set a price or an exact release date for Snood Redood quite yet, but you can expect it to be launched sometime later this month.
