August 26, 2009
If you are still patiently waiting for i.TV v2.0 to hit the App Store, why not give What's On TV? v2.0 a try instead? It may not have all of the bells and whistles that i.TV v2.0 has, but it does sport a new interface and push notifications, and at least it is available immediately.
What's On TV? is a TV and movie guide for your iPhone and iPod touch. It allows you to browse through all TV and movie listings in your area in portrait or landscape mode, and thanks to the recent update, it is now able to do a whole lot more.
What's On TV? v2.0 has a new interface that is much more easy on the eyes. It also has a new section called "The Buzz," which contains the latest TV, movie, and celebrity news. Don't want to miss the latest episode of your favorite show? What's On TV? v2.0 has you covered there as well with Push Notifications. Now when you tap on a TV show, you can set-up a Push Notification reminder that will warn you when your show is about to begin.
What's On TV? v2.0 additional features:
- Theatre Listings
- Full Landscape Support
- Movie Trailers
