iTunes 9 and the new iPod lineup were able to yank the spotlight away from Apple's long-rumored tablet during the last couple of weeks, but now that the "Rock and roll" event is over, we can commence Apple tablet rumors once again. According to a new report from Taiwan Economic News, the rumored tablet will feature a 9.6-inch touchscreen display,  P.A. Semi-engineered processor, "long lasting battery pack," built-in 3G HSDPA, and cost somewhere between $799 and $999.  The report goes on to state that shipments will be delivered to Apple this December in preparation for a February 2010 launch. In addition, the Taiwanese company DynaPack will reportedly supply up to 300,000 battery packs per month for the device, while Wintek, Apple's current iPhone screen supplier, will be supplying the displays. This new report seems to mesh well with previous reports, but as we all know, rumors are just that, rumors. Does this new report make you any more excited for an Apple tablet?  How do you feel about the possibility of this sleek device running on AT&T's network? [Image via Gizmodo]
