Don't Have A Steady Picture-Taking Hand? The Blur Tripod Is Here To Help
September 16, 2009
The iPhone may not be the best picture taking device out there, but it is definitely one of the most convenient and that's why people take so many pictures with it. Mobile Mechatronics has just released a new and relatively inexpensive product that should help you take better, blur-free pictures while keeping the convenience factor at its peak thanks to its small stature.
The Blur Tripod package consists of what Mobile Mechatronics is calling "the first iPhone to tripod adapter" and a mini tripod. The tripod itself is quite small, hence the "mini" portion of its name, which should allow you to take it nearly anywhere you go. The tripod can, however, extend up to 7" in total height for those less than convenient picture taking environments. The Blur tripod with the iPhone adapter is available for $14.99 plus shipping and handling.
That's not all Mobile Mechatronics has to offer to improve your picture taking experience. They have also submitted a companion app to Apple that will feature an adjustable delay, multi-picture support with variable delay, time lapse for up to 24 hours, and a built-in level. The app will be priced at $.99 once it is approved.
Besides a steady hand, what else do you think the iPhone needs to make it a better picture taking device? A flash? Zoom? More megapixels?
