Experience Pandorum On Your iPhone Before The Film Is Even Released

pandorum

Here's something you don't see all that often.  Artificial Life has just released their new iPhone and iPod touch game, Pandorum, which is a game that is based on the film by the same name.  However, the film hasn't been released yet, and the game follows the film's script, so you will basically be able to experience the film before it even hits theaters.  What a deal? pandorum_screen1Pandorum follows the story of two astronauts who awaken on a seemingly abandoned spaceship.  One of the astronauts decides to go exploring, while the other stays behind for guidance via a radio transmitter.  As you can imagine, the plot thickens and the two astronauts need to find a way to survive. Pandorum, the game, is a third-person shoooter that features 3D graphics and a fairly creepy atmosphere.  You will be wandering through corridors, solving puzzles, shooting monsters, and hopefully following along with the intense storyline.  The default controls consist of the usual left and right on-screen sticks, along with the ability to lock-on to targets for easy blasting. The game features online leader boards, Facebook Connect, medals, and the ability to upgrade your weapons and character with an add-on pack that is available as in in-game purchase for $.99.  The game also features the official movie trailer and the ability to purchase tickets via links. Pandorum is now available in the App Store for $3.99. Embedded below is the trailer for Pandorum, but be warned, it contains a ton of flashing, so if you are sensitive to such things you may want to just skip it.
