First It Was Spotify's App, Now Rhapsody's Gets The Stamp Of Approval

After Spotify's streaming music app for the iPhone and iPod touch was approved, we figured it was only a matter of time before Rhapsody's app got approved as well. Rhapsody's music streaming app, which was submitted about two weeks ago, has been approved and placed in the App Store. rhapsody_screenRhapsody for the iPhone and iPod touch gives you access to all of their 8 million tracks and every one of their radio stations, as long as you have a Rhapsody To Go subscription.  A Rhapsody To Go subscription costs $15 per month, but you can try the service for free for up to 7 days and you don't even need a credit card.  Just download the app, which is free in the App Store, and upon launch you will be given the opportunity to sign up for a free trial via Rhapsody's website.  It's that easy. The one key feature the app still lacks is the ability to store songs for offline playback, which means if you don't have a Wi-Fi, Edge, or 3G connection, you won't be listening to any music.  Rhapsody has stated that they do intend to add this functionality in the next major revision of the app.  It shouldn't be a problem with Apple either, since Spotify's app already has this functionality. It's good to see some of these apps finally getting Apple's stamp of approval.  Now if only Apple would go the extra mile and take care of all of this Google Voice nonsense.
