Overview

An action puzzler where the goal of the game is to build each skyscraper from the bottom up as the pieces slide across the screen. The higher up you go, the faster the pieces go. Each building you complete gets added to the "Cityscape View" and displays your progress with a dramatic skyline view of your city.

Features

skyscrapers-skylineThe game features two different modes of play, Career and Quick Play. In Career Mode you can play through 12 different levels. Each level has a different sized building and difficulty level to it. In Quick Play Mode you are able to play any completed level from Career Mode. The game also features a Local High Score Board so you can keep track of how you've done in the game and a Global High Score Board so you can compare your scores to those around the world as well.

Breakdown

The Good:

This is a very simple game. Basically you just tap anywhere on the screen to stop the pieces of the building and to advance higher up the skyscraper. It's incredibly simplistic, but that works for the game. The graphics look amazing in this game and as I said above, the controls are great. You literally just have to tap anywhere on the screen. I love a game with simple and easy controls and this one fits into that category. skyscrapers-build

The Bad:

This is one of those games that you're either going to love or hate. There's not much to the game so if this type of game is your thing, great. If not, then you probably are going to get bored here because there really isn't much to this one. I also didn't like the fact that when you get a "Game Over," you have to start all the way back at level one. I really would have liked to pick the game back up where I left off instead of going through every level again.

The Verdict

This is definitely a fun and entertaining game for sure. However, this is one of those games that is not going to appeal to everyone so make sure this type of game is your thing. [gallery link="file" columns="4"]
