Robocalypse - Mobile Mayhem Already On Sale For A Limited Time
September 30, 2009
Vogster Entertainment's uniquely simple RTS game for the iPhone and iPod touch is already on sale after only 10 days of availability, which is somewhat surprisingly considering the top-notch reviews it has been receiving in the App Store. No matter the reason for the sale, this one is definitely worth your time to check out, especially if you are a fan of the RTS genre.
Robocalypse was originally created and released for the Nintendo DS, so it only made sense to bring the successful title over to another touch-based platform. The game features some zany characters and dialogue created by Jay Lender (of Spongebob Squarepants fame) and Micah Wright. In the game you will be tasked with building up and commanding your army to defeat the menacing Demolisher.
Robocalypse - Mobile Mayhem is also loaded with content, including 10 unit types, 20 weapons, 17 campaign missions, 18 multiplayer maps, and a cast of powerful Hero robots. To top it all off, the multiplayer portion of the game isn't just head-to-head, you can also play with a friend cooperatively.
If you would like to learn a bit more about the history of Robocalypse, check out our interview with the game's producer, Alan Martin.
Robocalypse - Mobile Mayhem is on sale for $2.99, marked down from $4.99, but only for a limited time.
Vogster has also made a Lite version of the game available in the App Store for those of you not willing to take the risk of wasting your hard-earned cash.
