Apple's September 9th "Rock and Roll" event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10 AM Pacific Time.  But that's it, that's all we know.  We don't know what will be shown, though we have a pretty good idea, and we don't know who will be presenting at the event.  Some analysts, however, believe that they have a pretty good idea of what to expect, the only problem is that they don't agree. According to AppleInsider, Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster is predicting that Steve Jobs will at least make an appearance at Apple's musical event.
"However, we also believe Steve Jobs will be present at the event, a first since his health-related leave of absence, which would likely be a slight positive for shares of AAPL and the first public confirmation of Jobs' health since his return to the company."
Munster also believes that the iPod lineup will receive enhancements along with iTunes 9 and the App Store.  He doesn't expect any iTablet related news to come out of the event, however. On the flip side, Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu doesn't believe Jobs will be making an appearance at the event, instead he believes Phil Schiller will be given the reigns once again.
"It is not clear that Steve Jobs will be present," Wu said, "but most would welcome his appearance as a positive surprise."
Though Wu and Munster may not agree on who will present, they mostly agree on what will appear at the event.  Just like Munster, Wu believes the iPod lineup will see noticeable changes along with iTunes 9, though there is no mention of App Store improvements.  Wu also doesn't expect an iTablet announcement. So what do you think?  Will Jobs be presenting the new iPod lineup at Apple's "Rock and Roll" event?
