Dexter The Game Receives Another Price Cut (Updated)
October 21, 2009
UPDATE: Apparently the great deal is now over as the price has been raised to $4.99. Sorry if you missed out!
If you have been waiting to play as Dexter Morgan on your iPhone or iPod touch but couldn't justify spending the $5.99 it was originally priced at, we have some good news for you. Dexter the Game by Marc Ecko Entertainment has received not one, but two price cuts over the last week, making it much more worthy of a purchase.
Dexter the Game should make any Dexter fan feel right at home. It basically follows the storyline from the first season of the series, and to top it off, the talented Michael C. Hall actually voices the character in the game.
Dexter the Game features over 1,100 lines of dialogue, 3D graphics, first and third-person views that can be fully customized with pinch-zooming, multiple control schemes, advanced dynamic audio support, and various mini games that are intended to replicate Dexter’s actions in the TV show.
Feel free to check out our initial review of Dexter the Game if you would like to learn more about this darkly dreamy adventure. Some of the major bugs and performance issues have been worked out since the review was published, but it should at least give you a good idea of what to expect.
Dexter the Game was originally available in the App Store at $5.99 and it recently received a price reduction down to $2.99, but now the price has been cut even further, all the way down to $1.99.
