iPhone Soccer Fans Have Another Option With EA's FIFA 10

October 2, 2009

EA's FIFA 10 was ever so slowly released internationally throughout yesterday evening, and it is now finally available in the US App Store. As with all sports games, you want to be able to play as your favorite team and player, and EA definitely has you covered in FIFA 10 with its 30 leagues, 570 teams, and 12,620 players from all around the world.  If you would like to see the entire list of teams and players included in the game, check out EA's Facebook page.  If none of those 12,620 players suit your fancy, you can even create and customize your very own superstar.  It also allows you to play in up to 20 licensed tournaments and cup competitions. The game features accelerometer and touch-based controls, lifelike sights and sounds, and up to six different camera angles to allow you to view the action in a variety of ways.  FIFA 10 also sports local Wi-Fi multiplayer, so you can test your skills against your friends. FIFA 10 is now available in the App Store for $9.99.  This price is substantially higher than Gameloft's Real Soccer 2010, which features global online multiplayer, but it doesn't come anywhere near EA's total number of leagues, teams, and players.  So, if you are a soccer fan, you now have a difficult decision to make.
