I love taking naps during the day, it relaxes me like nothing else and really gets you going for the rest of the day. Pzizz is originally a
desktop application (Mac/Pc) that generates naps. The idea is that you configure how much time you have, if you want more guidance or more music, you launch it and Voilà! pzizz will generate a soundtrack that will help you get the most of it.
The main problem is that first of all you might not want to nap next to your computer, and even though there is the possibility of exporting the soundtrack to iTunes, it's impractical and takes a long time.
Well the answer to your problems is here since pzizz is now on the iPhone. With
pzizz relax all you need to do is find a spot to lie down, set it up using an extremely simple setting panel, put on your headphones and you're good to go. A good advice that you put your iPhone in airplane mode before you start as you probably don't want to be bothered in the middle of your nap.
I used it a couple of times this week, with durations between 20 and 90 minutes and it works like magic. I must admit I didn't fall asleep every time but even then, just by relaxing and listening to it, you'll feel a lot better. It's a real bargain too, the desktop app goes for $40 while you can get it on the App Store for $2.99.
Another good point in comparison to other nap applications is that everytime you press play, a brand new soundtrack is generated and you'll never hear the same one twice.
So if you don't take naps, you should start, and
pzizz relax is the best way to do just that.
The new version, which you should expect to pop-up in the Appstore anytime now, will include new backgrounds and the possibility to pick the wake-up alarm. Ok, enough said, let's get a Powernap.
