Vonage Disappoints

About a month after Apple approved the Vonage VoIP app, it debuted in the App Store to some pretty negative reviews:
"What is the point if this won't work with my existing Vonage account?"
"This is just another calling card. Just has the Vonage brand name."
"I can't believe I waited for so long thinking that the iPhone app from Vonage will be an extension of my existing account. I used to check iTunes everyday multiple times... I was one of the first few who downloaded this app at 1:30 AM CST just to end up in utter disappointment. Vonage, you are losing your hard core fans. Think again."
Since yesterday, the Vonage iPhone app has accumulated a consensus of disenchanted downloaders, mostly because users are forced to create a new account and are limited to international calling.
With the FCC stepping in and looking to tighten net neutrality rules, we can only hope for a better Vonage VoIP app on the horizon.
