Gameloft's iPhone and iPod touch adaptation of the popular 1993 real-time strategy game for the Amiga, The Settlers, landed in the App Store late yesterday evening. The Settlers features a well-balanced mix of strategy and building management that allows you to play the game in your own unique way. In The Settlers, you won't just be tasked with gathering resources to amass the biggest army, the game also allows you to manage and build up a bustling economy to create beautiful settlements. You can take charge of one of the three different ancient civilizations, including the Romans, Vikings, and Mayans, while cooperating and trading with others to achieve your goals, or can simply try to conquer them with a massive army. The Settlers also features tutorial missions for those of you who are new to the game. The Settlers is now available in the App Store for $4.99.
