The second edition of Google's excellent Google Earth app just hit the App Store and it seems like Google is trying to turn one of the App Store's most popular apps for its Wow factor into more of an utility.
The app now lets you see custom maps prepared on the desktop version, it facilitates the access to the extra informations on the map like Wikipedia articles or pictures and finally it brings up the supported languages count from 18 to 31.
I still believe it's more of a fun app to play around with than an utility but since it's free you should definitely give it a try!
