In Need Of Another Match-3 Game? Try Orba For Free For A Limited Time
November 19, 2009

Orba is one of those games that simply oozes polish. The graphics are extremely clean and clear, the interface is easy to navigate yet not bland, and the gameplay is simple yet effective. The basic concept of the game is to match three or more like-colored orbs in order to clear the board, but you must make sure to think each move through since you will be awarded with bonus points for creating long chains, clearing an entire color, or even clearing the entire board. After you are out of moves for that round, a new set of orbs will drop into the playing field and so on and so forth until you are unable to make any more moves.
Orba can be a little mundane at first, but the excitement ramps up as you progress further into the game. Different colors will be dropped into the playing field in the later levels, which makes matching them that much more difficult. The game also has a hint feature switched on by default, which highlights all of your possible moves, so if you are looking for a greater challenge I recommend disabling that feature from the get-go.
Orba launched on November 18th as a free game, but it will eventually cost you some dough, so go download it while you have the chance.
