Jamie Oliver Celebrates A TV Appearance With A Sale

Jamie Oliver has made a lot of TV appearances over the years, but this is the first time he has ever had an iPhone app make such an appearance, and to celebrate this unique achievement, his app will be on sale for the entire weekend. Jamie Oliver's 20 Minute Meals was recently featured in one of Apple's TV commercials on both sides of the Atlantic, which obviously calls for a celebration.  The app is definitely worthy of some TV time, as it features 50 brand new recipes from The Naked Chef himself.  Each recipe contained within the app takes about 20 minutes to prepare, and each one is broken down into easy to follow steps with step-by-step photos.  The app also features an intuitive interface, easy to use shopping list, high-quality audio tips for every recipe, the ability to toggle portion size, and over 75 minutes of video. Since its launch, Jamie Oliver's 20 Minute Meals has been available for $7.99 and, surprisingly, it still carries a four and a half star rating, which says a lot considering the state of the App Store economy.  This entire weekend, however, the app will be priced at $4.99 as a way to celebrate its TV appearance.
