Nokia VS Apple Lawsuit : There Won't Be Blood

We've told you all about Nokia suing Apple over using its patented wireless technology, at episode 1 Nokia filled a lawsuit, episode 2 Apple said they won't pay, well here comes episode 3 of this great story you're all so passionate about. Apparently it's probably not going to be as exciting as we though as there might be no fight in the end according to UBS analyst Maynard Um :

Nokia’s suit could be a pre-emptive move ahead of its new handsets launching soon that may have multi-touch capabilities for which Apple has IP

Makes sense, Nokia might very probably just be trying to get a good deal on a multitouch license and it's just "corporate hardball" as 9to5mac calls it. Maynard adds to it that he simply expects an out-of-court deal and a series of technology licensing agreements instead of a trial. [via 9to5mac]
