Readdle released Scanner Pro for the iPhone early last month to much acclaim.  The company's scanner app was able to leapfrog the well established JotNot in the top paid business apps list in only a few days of availability thanks to its ease of use and myriad of features.  The one feature that Scanner Pro was severely lacking, however, was the ability to save scans to the popular web service Evernote, but that is no longer the case in v1.1. scannerpro_screen1Scanner Pro is the perfect app to use in those situations where you need to copy a document but just don't have access to a regular scanner.  It features the ability to scan multi-page documents and turn them into industry standards PDF files, which can then be shared via email, uploaded to MobileMe, Box.net, Humyo, or any other WebDAV compatible online storage solution, or even transferred to your computer by mounting as your device as a shared network drive over a Wi-Fi network. It also allows you to look over your recently scanned PDFs thanks to the app's built-in PDF viewer, and it even allows you to add password protection to your files. Scanner Pro was recently updated to v1.1, which now features the ability to save scans to Evernote.  Evernote is a free web service that is able to convert the text and handwriting from your scans into searchable information that is accessible from anywhere.  The update also features the ability to make real-time image adjustments, an improved interface, and improved image processing. Scanner Pro v1.1 is now available in the App Store for $6.99.
