DJ Nights: Global Tour is an upcoming music based rhythm game created by Musigames and published by Clickgamer. It's similar to the Tap Tap Revenge series, but with a DJ inspired spin. First off the soundtrack is entirely electronic including artists: Kris O'Neil, Tom Cloud, Emilio Fernandez, Jonas Steur, Daniel Wanrooy, Jani & Erik Euwe, Existone, Tempo Guisto, Dave Schiemann and Tiësto. DJNights_scratch The game is basically rhythm based tapping we've seen before where there are three columns of notes that come down the screen, and you have to tap on them when they cross the bar. Also included are spins/scratches that flow down the side of the screen requiring you to draw a circle over the records on the side. Every note you play is graded from perfect to miss with different degrees in between. There is also a tap to vibe mode where everything highlights white, and it's time for a bigger multiplier. One thing about the game is that you don't have to tap on the note, but rather you can tap anywhere on screen, and it picks up perfectly. Also included is a feature from Rock Band missing in Tap Tap Revenge 3. When you miss a note, the note is not played, and sometimes there are scratching sounds when you're way off. DJNights_Vibe The game is set up as DJ Nights: Global Tour which means that you progress from location to location across the globe showing off your DJ skills. You begin in South America, and advance you way across the globe by reaching certain scores. DJ Nights is expected any day, and we will have a review once it's released.
