Wallace And Gromit Go Digital, First Comic Available For Free

November 11, 2009

The beloved British duo of Wallace and Gromit have gone digital, digital in comic form that is, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their first-ever screening. Titan Publishing first started doing physical Wallace and Gromit comics in 2007, after the debut of Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and now they have decided to take the series digital.  The first comic in the series, The W Files, is currently available in the App Store for free for a limited time. The W Files is your basic digital comic book with an easy to use interface, 59 pages full of zaniness, and bonus pages that can be accessed with the simple flick of your finger, just watch for the black arrows. The other three Wallace and Gromit comics currently available in the App Store are: Parts and Labour, Big in Japan, and Where There's Muck, There's Brass, and are all priced at $.99.  Each comic is its own self-contained story, so you won't have to invest in all four comics if you don't want to. If you haven't ever given a digital comic a try on your iPhone or iPod touch, there is no better time than the present.
