According to a "plugged-in source in the mobile industry" in touch with the Silicon Alley Insider, Apple just asked a few selected developers to prep their apps for the upcoming iTablet. Well, indirectly so, here is the actual line:
They've told select developers that as long as they build their apps to support full screen resolution -- rather than a fixed 320x480 -- their apps should run just fine
Furthermore the device should be presented to the public in January already and will be put on the market around March.  The rumors say that the first version of the device should be around 7 inches wide and it will be followed by a 10 or 11 inch version. If true, this is an incredible news. You know how fond we are of the App Store, and taking all those apps to a tablet computer is definitely a winning move. The latest name I heard for the device would be "iMac Air", I really like it, what do you think?
