IKEA UK To Distribute Its Catalogue On the iPhone

The IKEA catalogue is one of IKEA's founding elements and has been its main marketing tool for many years now, well it seems like the Swedish finally decided it was time to innovate and are bringing their catalogue to our favorite Smart Phone. It's due to launch tomorrow and is basically a "straightforward application that allows users to view the 2010 UK catalogue page by page ". It's limited to the UK for now and they want your feedback to help them improve the app. Here is their official announcement :

The iPhone application will be initially launched to the UK market with the UK version of the catalogue available to download from tomorrow, 3 December 2009 There are plans to quickly improve and develop the app but only in conjunction with customers who choose to download it. Customers are invited to add their thoughts and opinions on how it can be improved, in order to produce an app that works the most intuitively with the IKEA customer experience.
