Microsoft Faces Reality, Bing & Live Messenger Are Coming To The App Store
December 11, 2009
Microsoft, a software company based in Redmond (remember?), seems to be going through some serious bipolar disorder lately.
After reportedly telling journalists gathered for a company press event in Germany not to use or mention Apple products last Tuesday, they are now pushing their products on the iPhone.
According to various sources Microsoft would be "actively working" on bringing a native Bing application to the iPhone and is planning to launch it around March 2010 along with some other web services. In the same optic they would be also developing an official messenger app.
All in all it's not that surprising actually. Microsoft has already been present on the App Store for a while now with apps like Microsoft Tag or Seadragon Mobile and the App Store is most certainly a great platform to promote their products.
If you can’t beat them, join them, right?
