Navigon MobileNavigator Gets Updated And Goes On Sale
December 17, 2009
It looks like Navigon isn't going to let TomTom win the iPhone navigation app popularity contest without a fight. Navigon has decided to respond to TomTom's recent app addition and price drop with an addition (an update) and price drop of their own.
Navigon MobileNavigator North America and MobileNavigator Europe were recently updated to v1.4, which adds tons of new features and reduces the time it takes for the app to launch. Some of the new features include a turn-by-turn route list, Google local search, coordinate input, manual zoom in 2D and 3D while navigating, the ability to browse traffic messages by sliding screens, and much more. The v1.4 update is immediately available for download for free for any current MobileNavigator users.
To top it all off, Navigon has chosen to drop the price of both apps until January 11th. MobileNavigator North America, which normally costs $89.99, is now available for only $59.99. MobileNavigator Europe, which normally costs $139.99, is now available for $94.99.
