Super Monkey Ball 2 Rolls Into The App Store

Sega's original Super Monkey Ball game for the iPhone and iPod touch arrived in the App Store sometime in late August 2008.  The game turned out to be a huge success even though it featured some fairly inaccurate controls, so it was really a no-brainer for Sega to give the game a little more polish and take another stab at the controls in their very recently released Super Monkey Ball 2. Super Monkey Ball 2 offers everything you would hope from a sequel.  It features all four of your favorite Super Monkey Ball characters, 115 challenging tracks, improved graphics, local four-player multiplayer via Wi-Fi that allows you to compete on all 115 of the included tracks, and improved controls.  The game still features accelerometer-based controls, but they have been improved to be more precise, which makes collecting those bananas a bit easier. The game also features a single mini-game at launch, Monkey Bowling, with Monkey Golf and Monkey Target to be available in early 2010 as a free update. Super Monkey Ball 2 is now available in the App Store for $9.99.  Now get rollin'!
