The University Of Michigan Thinks The iPhone Is A Music Instrument
December 7, 2009
Georg Essl from the University of Michigan put together what he proudly calls a "mobile phone ensemble". He managed to drag a couple students into his craze and convinced them not only to each design their own noise app but also to actually feature them all together in a concert this Wednesday.
The requirement for the apps is to take advantage of the iPhone accelerometer, the touch screen or even the microphone.

We can't blame them for trying right? But I do like the hand-wrist speakers...
