Today is the day that you can finally put down that newspaper because Sudoku is EA's 25 Games ‘Til Xmas sale deal. Sudoku is a logic-based number-placement game that has been around for quite some time, but has only recently become a worldwide phenomenon.  The objective of the game is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers so that each column, row, and 3x3 sub-grid contains all of the digits from 1 to 9. EA has taken this paper and pencil puzzle game to a whole new level by adding their own unique flair, for better or worse.  Sudoku for the iPhone and iPod touch features an easy to understand interface and touch-based gameplay that should allow any frequent Sudoku player to feel right at home.  The game features thousands of different grid designs, five difficulty levels, stat tracking, error-checking, and hints for when you are completely stumped. Sudoku is normally available for $1.99, but today only it is available for $.99.
