Win One Of Five Twitter 360 Promo Codes With A Retweet
December 4, 2009
AppAdvice has teamed up with Presselite to offer all of you a chance at winning one of five (5) promo codes for Twitter 360.
Twitter 360 is an augmented reality app that allows you to view the last physical location your friends tweet from thanks to Twitter's new geotagging feature. When you first launch the app, it can localize your current position and update the location field data on your Twitter account, but only if you allow it to. Once the app has loaded you can view your friends tweets and their location via the "Latest Tweets" tab, or highlight only your favorites and view them via the "Locate my Friends" tab. The app also allows you to customize the distance from which tweet locations will be displayed and the number of tweets you would like it to load.
Twitter 360 isn't meant to be a full-featured Twitter app, it's simply meant to provide a unique Twitter experience. Twitter 360 only supports the iPhone 3GS.
Since Twitter 360 is a Twitter app after all, we are going to give away the bulk of the promo codes via Twitter. To win one of four Twitter 360 promo codes, simply hit that green retweet bottom near the bottom of this page or retweet this post from your favorite Twitter app before 11:59 PM PDT tonight (December 4th). We will then search the Twitterverse for all of the retweets and randomly choose four winners. Winners will be notified via Twitter, so please be sure to follow us so we can send you your promo code via a direct message.
If you don’t have a Twitter account quite yet but want to eventually give this app a try, that’s totally cool with us. Just leave a relevant comment below before 11:59 PM PDT tonight for a chance to win one Twitter 360 promo code. If you win a promo code via the comment method and you don't have a Twitter account, you better sign up for one or the fail whale will haunt your dreams!
Feel free to participate in the giveaway via either or both methods. As always, this giveaway and all promo code giveaways are only open to U.S. iTunes account users. Tweet away!
