Apple Releases Free MobileMe Gallery App

Apple has just released their second MobileMe related iPhone and iPod touch app, MobileMe Gallery.  The app is intended to make accessing and viewing your MobileMe photo galleries while on the go faster and easier. MobileMe Gallery gives you quick access to your entire gallery, even password-protected and hidden albums, as well as photos and movies published by your friends.  It also allows you to access previously-viewed photos even when you no longer have an Internet connection, and email a link to any of your albums to share with friends and family. When viewing photos from within the app, you can pinch to zoom and rotate your device to view in landscape mode.  If you tap and hold on an photo, you can save it to your camera roll or simply copy it.  You can also send a direct link to a photo via email. MobileMe Gallery is available for free, but it requires an active MobileMe subscription.
