The field is starting to heat up after yesterday's confirmation of the 27th event. Clayton Morris at Fox News is now reporting that, according to his sources inside Apple, the event will be focusing on three projects : the Tablet, iPhone 4 OS as well as a new round of iLife 2010 software. Apparently, despite of the fact that we won't be seeing new iPhone hardware just yet, we'll be presented with a new iPhone operating system. Here is his exact quote:
I spoke to a source at Apple this morning, before the invite hit my inbox, who said the event would likely focus on three projects: The tablet device, iPhone 4, and a new round of iLife 2010 software. While we won't see new iPhone hardware just yet, we will see the next-generation software.
In absence of new hardware for the iPhone, it will be very interesting to see what novelties will Apple come up with for our beloved iPhone. I would bet on app mutltitasking, but those are just conjectures.
