Traplight Games first showed off their upcoming iPhone superhero game aptly titled Superhero way back in October 2009. The game was slated to hit the App Store before the end of the year, but as always with the development process, things change. The game resurfaced recently thanks to prominent iPhone game publisher Chillingo picking it up, and not only has it received a name change, but it also has a new release date and a new trailer to sink your teeth into.
Traplight Games' Superhero is now called The Hero to avoid any legal issues, which is probably a good idea considering the mess all "Edge" named games have had to deal with. The game will feature all kinds of fast-paced tilt and touch controlled gameplay, power-ups, varying environments, and a unique main character that is able to kick butt and make you chuckle at the same time. The Hero is set to arrive in the App Store in about two weeks at a yet-to-be-determined price.
