Activision's wonderful "Call of Duty: World at War: Zombies" just got a major update which should give it a new life for those of you who own it already, and another reason to buy it for those who don't. (Note: It's only fun in multiplayer over Wi-Fi).

The update comes with a new map (Verrückt, aka "Crazy") as well as the possibility to buy further ones as in-app purchases. This, and a whole bunch of new weapons and multiplayer improvements. Here is the full changelog:

  • Overall game engine optimizations for a smoother, richer gameplay experience
  • Leaderboard Enhancements to track Highest Wave Reached, Points Scored, Kills, and Headshots
  • Control Tweaks to Touch Screen & Dual Stick configurations with Options to adjust controls based on user preferences
  • Tutorial adjustments to allow for experimentation of control schemes before game start
