Final Fantasy I & II Now Available; Square Enix Cuts Other App's Prices In Celebration
February 25, 2010
Today is a marvelous day for iPhone RPG fans. Square Enix just released not one but two Final Fantasy games for the iPhone and iPod touch, and the company is celebrating this achievement by cutting the prices of their other iPhone games for limited time.
Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II were originally released for the NES in Japan back in 1987 and 1988. The two respected titles have made their way to the iPhone and iPod touch mostly in their original form, except they now feature touch controls and additional dungeons that weren't available in the original releases.
Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II are available in the App Store for $8.99 each. We will hopefully soon be able to provide you with in-depth reviews to help with your purchasing decisions.
In the meantime, check out Square Enix's five other iPhone games that are now on sale until March 3rd.
Crystal Defenders ($7.99 -> $5.99)
Vanguard Storm ($4.99 -> $3.99)
Sliding Heroes ($2.99 -> $.99)
Hills and Rivers Remain ($6.99 -> $4.99)
Song Summoner ($9.99 -> $7.99)
