Textropolis ($1.99 -> Free): A free-play word discovery game that requires you to create words from 30 different city names. Each word you discover has a definition that flies across the screen, so you might actually learn a thing or two. You can shake your device for a helpful hint, although you will be penalized. Travel through each city to see if you can obtain a perfect five gold star rating.

Alchemize ($2.99 -> Free): A match-3 game where matched pieces create new and different pieces. This creates an entirely different gameplay element because you must plan for the new piece that is created. The game features touch and swipe controls to manipulate your pieces, and a shake mechanic to display piece hierarchy.
The game contains five game modes, 27 different pieces, nine power-ups, and online leader boards.
Alchemize is free for a "limited time," so you should probably download it as soon as you have a spare moment.
