Glu Mobile, the developers of 1000: Find 'Em All, Glyder 2, and Beat It! to name a few, have released a teaser trailer for their upcoming iPhone adaptation of Transformers G1 Awakening, a game originally developed for mobile handsets in 2008.
First and foremost, the game is based on the original Transformers story, which is music to any geek's ears. Transformers G1 Awakening is a turn-based strategy game where you must use the strengths of each Autobot to defeat the Decepticons. The original game contained 23 playable characters and a skirmish mode to play against friends, although we aren't sure what will be making its way into the iPhone version.
Transformers G1 Awakening is set to hit the App Store on February 25th at a unknown price.
