Targus To Release iPad Screen Protector With Clear View Technology In April

Targus, the longtime technology case and accessory provider, has announced that they intend to have an iPad-sized version of their iPhone Screen Protector with Clear View technology available sometime in April.

"In addition to our current line of fingerprint-resistant screen protectors for iPhone 3G, 3GS & the iPod touch, Targus is happy to extend its product line to include the recently released iPad," stated Carolyn Perrier, vice president of accessories product management and marketing at Targus.  "As touch screen devices become more prevalent, so is the need for keeping the screens free from fingerprints and smudges for optimum clarity."

The Targus Screen Protector with Clear View technology has a microscopic landscape of ridges and valleys that dissipate fingerprint oils, effectively reducing the amount of fingerprints and smudges on the screen.  The microscopic ridges also help reduce glare, and provide a scratch proof surface for the device you will be investing so much in.  The specially formulated adhesive Targus uses on the Screen Protector allows for easy application without any bubbles, and reduces peeling. The Targus Screen Protector with Clear View for the iPad hasn't been priced at this time, but you can be sure it will cost more than the iPhone version, which is priced at $9.99.
