February 4, 2010
Today is the first day FreeAppADay.com is featuring a non-game, but all of you iPhone and iPod touch gamers don't need to worry because OpenFeint has a free app available today as well and, as always, it is game.
FluxTunes ($.99 -> Free): If you have ever had troubles idevice's music player while driving, jogging, biking or during any other activity because you didn't want to take your eyes off of what is most important, then FluxTunes is the app for your. It allows you to control a variety of music playing functions, such as changing a track, playlist, or volume, with single or multi-finger gestures. It's simple and easy to use, and it could be a lifesaver.
Sir Revs-A-Lot ($.99 -> Free): A sort of sideways casual jumping game. Sir Revs-A-Lot features two gameplay modes, Quick Play and Marathon Play. Quick Play requires you to bounce your car off of all of the enemies in an attempt to never touch the ground, because if you do, the game is over. I know, it's a car, cars should be on the ground, but just go with it. Marathon Play is more of the same, except you can touch the ground as long as you have fuel. Your fuel depletes while you are on the ground, however, so if you run out, the game is over.
Sir Revs-A-Lot features on-screen controls, power-ups, and OpenFeint integration.
Both apps are available for free today and today only (2/4/10).
