Crystal Cave: Lost Treasures Released; Crystal Cave Classic Receives A Price Drop
March 19, 2010
Crystal Cave: Lost Treasures is Rake in Grass' new logic-based puzzle game that's actually a spin-off of Crystal Cave Classic. It's designed to be an easier, more casual version of the original since Crystal Cave Classic's puzzles are known to be mind-bendingly difficult at times.
Crystal Cave: Lost Treasures resembles the classic Boulder Dash, where you are required to travel through dark caves, pyramids, and temples in search of lost gems by solving tons of different puzzles.
The game features 100 original levels that contain boulders, teleporters, and other types of interactive items that you must utilize to solve puzzles. Dig away ground to drop boulders, push them onto mechanisms to activate a series of events, or drop them on enemies to clear the way, but try to avoid getting squished by your own boulder so you don't have to start over.
The game features on-screen directional controls, three different environments, and the ability to save multiple games on the same device.
Crystal Cave: Lost Treasures is now available in the App Store for $.99.
If you think you have what it takes to complete much more difficult logic-based puzzles, you should probably just skip Crystal Cave: Lost Treasures and pick up Crystal Cave Classic at its new low price of $1.99. It should keep you busy for some time since it features 170 different levels at varying difficulties.
