Comcast Mobile for the iPhone made its debut last summer and offered to consumers a robust app that integrated all of Comcast's core features in one location.
Customers could access TV listings, discover new On Demand content with movie trailers and even schedule push notifications to avoid missing out on their favorite shows. And with a unified message inbox, you could consolidate your Comcast email account as well as listen and manage voicemails from Comcast's VoiP service.
With a newly released update, customers can now program their recordings anywhere with their iPhone using remote DVR functionality, a feature that has become common with apps from competing content providers like DirecTV and AT&T's U-Verse. For any TV junkie, the convenience of being able to program and record a show from your device is priceless.
If you're a Comcast Customer with an iPhone, there is no reason you shouldn't have this on your device.
Comcast 2.0 is available for free in the App Store.
